GulfQuest open for the 4th of July!

Jun 28, 2016

The smell of hamburgers, hotdogs and fireworks will soon be filling the air as the nation celebrates yet another year of its independence. Before heading to Battleship Memorial Park for the annual City of Mobile Fourth of July celebration, GulfQuest is inviting Gulf Coast visitors and residents to spend the day at the museum as we hold special holiday hours in observance of the national holiday.

“Mondays are typically GulfQuest’s only non-operating day, but we wanted to remain open to give families the opportunity to enjoy the museum while awaiting the city’s spectacular Fourth of July celebration at the Battleship,” Diana Brewer, Marketing and Public Relations Director at GulfQuest said. “And whatever the weather for the day—too hot or too rainy—GulfQuest is the perfect indoor spot to spend an entire fun-filled day."

GulfQuest will open at 9 a.m. on July 4th and will close at 5 p.m. Gates will open at 5 p.m. at Battleship Memorial Park for the City of Mobile’s Fourth of July celebration with fireworks over the water scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.
