GulfQuest memberships now available! 10% off in December!

Dec 8, 2015

MOBILE, AL – One of the most common themes heard from GulfQuest visitors since the interactive maritime museum opened in September is that there is so much to see and do, it can hardly be done in one day. Now, visitors can experience GulfQuest year-round with an annual GulfQuest membership.

Starting at $125 for a family of four ($112.50 with the December discount), or just $50 ($45 with discount) for an individual, becoming a GulfQuest member means free admission throughout the year, invitations to special events and members-only events, plus discounts on blockbuster traveling exhibitions, educational programs, museum parking and store purchases.

“We love that our visitors want to come back again and again,” Tony Zodrow, executive director said. “This is what our Board of Trustees envisioned, and this is what we are experiencing today. We had one visitor recently who said she was in for her fourth visit! I wouldn’t be surprised if she was our first official member.”

In addition to the family and individual memberships, there are couple memberships, family plus and family premium memberships for larger families, and grandparent memberships that allow up to six grandkids at a time. Also, for those who wish to provide additional support for GulfQuest, a non-profit organization, there are supporting memberships that include the Family Plus membership benefits plus donor recognition within the museum and on the museum’s website.

Located on the Mobile River, GulfQuest is one of the only interactive maritime museums in the United States and the only museum in the world dedicated to the Gulf of Mexico. With 90 interactive exhibits, simulators, theaters and displays, GulfQuest is a “Signature Attraction” for the Gulf Coast and a major educational attraction for Mobile, Baldwin and the state of Alabama.

GulfQuest is open Tuesday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. To learn more about becoming a GulfQuest member, click here.
