GulfQuest’s goal is to provide teachers and their students with a value-added experience. GulfQuest will offer the following resources to help educators maximize learning before, during and after their trip to GulfQuest:

Educators’ Guide to Exhibits will include a map of each floor, descriptions of each exhibit and information on how students will interact with the exhibits. This guide will also include curriculum connections for social studies, science and math.

Pre- and Post Visit Ideas will offer suggestions on how to prepare students for a field trip and provide follow-up activities after their visit. These will include connections to social studies, science, math, literature and writing.

Treasure Hunts (also known as scavenger hunts) will keep students focused on learning outcomes during their visit. GulfQuest will provide content-specific Treasure Hunts for various grade levels (K-12). These will also be geared toward chaperones so they also can be engaged with the students’ learning process.
