GulfQuest will offer a wide range of educational programs for school groups (K-12).

Within the museum, interactive kiosks, simulators and presentations will provide one-of-a-kind learning opportunities for students as they explore dozens of exhibits located on five exhibit floors. GulfQuest staff and volunteers will engage students in various galleries, providing “teaching moments” specific to particular exhibits.

In addition, each student group will engage in a focused maritime program pre-selected by their teacher from GulfQuest’s catalogue of grade-specific programs. These sessions will be taught by GulfQuest educators to enhance the field trip experience and add value to curriculum objectives being taught in the classroom.

School groups will receive a discounted rate for museum admission. Educators will be admitted free-of-charge. School groups can order lunches in advance from GulfQuest’s café – or bring their own sack lunches. GulfQuest’s school lunchroom will be located on the third floor, and available to all school groups visiting the facility.
