Rental Facilities

       


To ensure your event is a huge success, GulfQuest provides an event coordinator to assist with the planning and preparation. Rental rates are based on a four-hour event, with addtional time available at an hourly rate. Rentals include set-up of tables and chairs to accommodate up to 300 guests. GulfQuest can also provide Club Carts and a Parking Attendant for an additional fee.

Entire Museum

For a totally immersive event

Ideal for large groups and all types of events. Exclusive access to all of GulfQuest, including the Port City Room, Riverside Room, the Grand Lobby, Shores of the Gulf gallery, GulfQuest Theater and the museum's hands-on exhibits, simulators, displays and theaters.​

The Port city Room

Perfect for luncheons, dinners, receptions, corporate partiea, and so much more

Sweeping, third-floor view of the Mobile River, Cooper Riverside Park and the downtown Mobile skyline. Adjoining catering pantry/service area.​

  • Capacity: 220 for seated dinners; 285 for receptions

THE Riverside Room

Ideal for business meetings, presentations, small receptions, dinners, ceremonies, and so much more.

  • Capacity: 75 for seminars; 100 for receptions

Riverfront Promenade/Amphitheater

Adaptable outdoor space for mid-size events. Located alongside GulfQuest and the Mobile River​

Grand Lobby

Three-story rotunda with Gulf of Mexico interactive map, beautiful batik artwork, skylight with overhead dome, and flags that represent ships in the Port of Mobile​

  • Available for evening events only.
  • Capacity: 250 for receptions and events

Shores of the Gulf Gallery

Perfect for receptions and silent auctions

GulfQuest Theater

Ideal for films, speakers and presentations

  • Capacity: 75 theater seats

Exhibits' access may be added to a room rental for a charge of $5 per guest. A minimum of 50 guests is required.

 

 

THE REAL MCCOY

The 18th Constitutional Amendment (1919) created work for mariners willing to defy "Prohibition." One "rumrunner," William McCoy, made his reputation by selling untampered alcohol - he refused to cut it with water. Today, the phrase still means "the genuine article."
